Mediterranean Ports and Logistics 2026

Mediterranean ports and logistics industry gathered in Porto

The Solvo team took part in Mediterranean Ports and Logistics 2026, one of the key annual events for the ports and logistics industry in the Mediterranean region. The exhibition and conference were held from 28 to 30 April 2026 at Sheraton Porto Hotel & Spa, Portugal.

The event brought together representatives of port authorities, terminal operators, shipping lines, logistics companies, cargo owners, railway operators, equipment suppliers and technology providers from across the Mediterranean, European and African regions.

This year’s programme focused on the development of port infrastructure, regional trade opportunities, intermodal logistics, green port initiatives, automation, artificial intelligence and technologies that help ports increase competitiveness and improve operational efficiency.

Presenting terminal digitalization expertise

Solvo Europe presented its expertise in terminal digitalization at Stand 26. During the event, the company team discussed how modern Terminal Operating Systems help ports and terminals manage complex cargo flows, coordinate operations across different transport modes and improve transparency across the entire terminal cycle.

Giovanni Migliaccio, Senior Vice President Sales & Marketing at Solvo Europe B.V., also joined the conference programme as part of the Port Technology session. The session focused on shore power solutions, automation, artificial intelligence and other technologies designed to leverage port operations and support the reduction of carbon emissions.

Strengthening connections across the port technology community

Participation in Mediterranean Ports and Logistics 2026 provided Solvo with an opportunity to strengthen industry connections, exchange experience with port and logistics professionals, and continue the conversation on the role of digital systems in the development of modern terminal operations.

Solvo Europe thanks the organizers, APDL – Port Authority of Douro, Leixões and Viana do Castelo, YILPORT Holding and all visitors who met with the team during the event.
