Solvo will participate in Transport Middle East 2026, the international ports and logistics exhibition and conference taking place from 29 September to 1 October 2026 at the Renaissance Cairo Mirage City Hotel in Cairo, Egypt.
Event Details
Hosted by Suez Canal Container Terminal, Transport Middle East brings together port authorities, terminal operators, shipping lines, cargo owners, logistics companies, technology providers and other maritime industry professionals from the Middle East and connecting regions.
For Solvo, the event comes at a time when ports and logistics operators across the region are addressing increasingly interconnected challenges: changing trade routes, growing intermodal connectivity, port infrastructure development and the digital transformation of terminal operations.
Egypt occupies a strategic position in this landscape. The Suez Canal connects the Mediterranean and Red Seas and remains one of the key links between European and Asian maritime trade, while the development of ports, logistics infrastructure and inland connections continues to strengthen the country’s role in regional supply chains.
The Transport Middle East 2026 conference program reflects these priorities, with discussions covering the future of the Suez Canal, port expansion, intermodal corridors, terminal efficiency, sustainability and technologies including artificial intelligence, Port Community Systems and cybersecurity.
Come to meet the Solvo team
At the exhibition, Solvo will present digital solutions for port, terminal and logistics operations, including Solvo.TOS for integrated terminal management and related technologies for connecting cargo, equipment, transport, documentation and operational workflows within a unified digital environment.
The Solvo team will be glad to discuss how digital technologies can help ports and terminals:
- coordinate vessel, yard, gate and hinterland operations;
- manage container and multi-cargo workflows;
- improve operational visibility and resource utilization;
- integrate terminal systems with external stakeholders and equipment;
- reduce manual coordination and improve data quality;
- create a scalable digital foundation for further automation.
Solvo will also take part in the conference program.
On 1 October at 11:00, Giovanni Migliaccio, Senior Vice President Sales & Marketing at Solvo Europe B.V., will join Session 4: “Examining how Artificial Intelligence, Blockchain, Port Community Systems and Cybersecurity are Transforming Supply Chains and Terminal Operations for Middle East Region and the Maritime Community.”
We look forward to meeting port and terminal professionals, logistics operators, technology partners and industry experts in Cairo.
