Solvo.WMS Deployed at Leading Confectionery Production Site in Kazakhstan

Efficient warehouse automation for Rahat — a LOTTE Confectionery company!

Solvo has successfully implemented Solvo.WMS at three key sites of the Rahat confectionery factory in Kazakhstan: two distribution centers and a production warehouse.

A Solution Chosen for Its Flexibility and Experience

With prior success at sites Derbes in Kazakhstan, Solvo.WMS was selected for its robust functionality and local adaptation options. The system was implemented using cloud technology and the Remote Warehouses module — enabling rapid deployment.

Warehouse Highlights

  • 10,000 m² long-term warehouse with 7,609 pallet locations;
  • 3,000 m² production warehouse, 1,500 pallet locations;
  • 24/7 and 6-day operating schedules, respectively.

Tangible Results and Future Plans

Warehouse staff now complete inventories in under an hour, track expiration dates in real time, and optimize picking and replenishment operations. According to Rahat’s Logistics Director,

“Complexities arise with any new technology implementation. When the system was being installed, the people weren’t sufficiently ready and it was difficult to train them. But now after implementation, we look back and realize that it was rather simple and everything works. It is modern, it is necessary and now we couldn’t work without it.”

Solvo.WMS continues to support further innovations in Rahat’s operations — helping the company maintain its leadership in the Central Asian market: in Uzbekistan, Turkmenistan, Kyrgyzstan, China, and Afghanistan.
