Designed for Growth: Digitalization at the Core

The Burunday Container Terminal is a greenfield project built from the ground up with automation in mind. The terminal spans 16.5 hectares, offers rail and road access, and is equipped with modern reach stackers and handling systems. Its processing capacity exceeds 100,000 TEU per year.

To support high throughput and reliable service quality, BCT relies on Solvo.TOS, an advanced terminal operating system that coordinates planning, cargo handling, rail/truck dispatch, equipment, and workforce—all within a unified digital environment.

“We see the growing potential of the region and want to offer a level of service that meets international quality standards. That’s only possible through automation—which is why we built Solvo.TOS into the project from the beginning,”
— Pulat Khaitov, General Director, Burunday Container Terminal

Integration with third-party systems such as ERP and freight management platforms is already complete. Ahead of the official launch, the BCT team underwent comprehensive training and conducted test operations using the new system.

Solvo’s Continued Expansion in Central Asia

Solvo.TOS is already used by terminals across Europe, the Middle East, and Central Asia—including Kazakhstan’s Port of Aktau and Uzbekistan’s Universal Logistics Services. The BCT project further expands Solvo’s presence in the region.

The BCT team has also indicated plans for further development, including warehousing space to serve 3PL providers, retailers, and distributors.
