Mediterranean Ports And Logistics 2024

Mediterranean Ports And Logistics 2024

The SOLVO team visited Trieste, Italy, for the Mediterranean Ports and Logistics 2024. We held a series of business meetings, attended the conference, and followed the discussed trends with great interest. We would like to share our observations and conclusions.

The three-day event served as a hub for international dialogue, attracting more than 400 industry leaders, logistics professionals and other specialists from related fields in the Mediterranean region. The conference focused on the future of Mediterranean trade. Discussions delved into the challenges and opportunities in global logistics.

Among the conference’s topics were issues such as closing the gap between sustainable and smart logistics, regional cargo volumes, decarbonization and digitalization of port handling equipment. Discussions also covered increasing operator cargo volumes with automated container handling, utilizing AI technologies in terminals and ports, as well as security and other related questions. Studying market problems has allowed us to conclude that we correctly understand the key market challenges and develop our solutions in right direction:

  • To keep a balance between sustainable and smart logistics, we create individual IT solutions to address the unique needs of each of our clients
  • Our system’s functionality is able to adapt to changes in the economy, government requirements and logistics companies’ business strategy
  • The maximum productivity of SOLVO systems is over 500,000 order lines per day. This ensures the stability and continuity of daily business processes
  • When we update our systems using modern IT technologies, we always keep two important aspects in focus: ensuring our client’s security and ensuring the uninterrupted operation of their logistics facility. For example, working without the internet or creating flexible rules within the SOLVO systems for providing employees access to data
  • Our products operate sustainably without constant support for years. A company can safely use a SOLVO system autonomously on its local servers and update the system only when it needs new functionality
  • SOLVO systems create optimal routes for cargo handling equipment, which reduces carbon emissions and minimizes non-value-adding manipulations
  • Our products integrate with various software and hardware, enabling the application of other smart technologies within our secure digital ecosystem

In conclusion, we would like to express our gratitude for the opportunity to participate in events like Mediterranean Ports and Logistics. These events provide us with invaluable insights into the latest trends, problems, and challenges facing logistics companies. This inspiration motivates us to further develop and enhance SOLVO solutions, ensuring they become even better, more useful, and more effective for our clients.

We extend our thanks to Transport Events, who organized this conference, and the participants of the event for the engaging professional dialogue!
